Toraja Package Tour 5 Days / 4 Nights
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, you will be picked up by our tour guide. Then we will directly depart to Tana Toraja with approx. 8 hours drive passing through the Buginese villages with their typical houses on poles. On the way, we will visit the fishermen village in Barru district with its beautiful beach panorama. If we are lucky, we also could see the traditional Buginese “ Pa’bagan “ fisher boats. Lunch will be served at seafood Restaurant in Pare-Pare. In the afternoon, stop also will be made on Puncak Lakawan for having coffee break while enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Kabobong. Late in afternoon, arrive in Rantepao, Tana Toraja. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02 : Fullday Tana Toraja Tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will take you on a full day tour around Tana Toraja. In the morning, we will visit Lemo to see the hanging graves with their rows of Tau-Tau effigies. Continue to Londa, a burial cave where we can find entombed deceased. Then we will visit the most famous Torajan village Kete Kesu the most famous Torajan village Kete Kesu where will see the architecture of traditional Tongkonan houses with the rice barns. After that, time to explore the secret of the peculiar baby graves in Suaya / Kambira. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit Pallawa & Sa’dan famous as the center of wood carving in Tana Toraja. Then we back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Fullday Tana Toraja Tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will have another excursion around Tana Toraja. Today we will visit Marante & Nanggala, local Torajan villages famous for their big Tongkonan houses and old rice barns. Then to Bori’ to see the ancient and old megalith stone. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Rantepao. After lunch, take a picturesque drive to Batutumonga. On the way, we will stop in Tinombayo to enjoy a wonderful superb of extensive rice terraces with the megalith stones and impressive mountain view. At last, we can take relax with some drinks and snacks in Batutumonga while enjoy the view of Rantepao city from the hill top. Also we can take a change to have a soft trekking to explore several local villages with the typical daily life style of the society. After enough time, back to Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 04 : Fullday Tana Toraja Tour (B,L,D)
In the morning we will drive to the east coast of Rantepao, where we will visit the Puncak Paredean to enjoy a spectacular view from the high distance. If we are lucky ( if the weather is good ) we will see the beautiful panorama of Palopo peninsula and surround areas. Here we will take a soft hiking try to catch several picturesque views nearby. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, back to Rantepao. In the afternoon, we will visit Siguntuk & Tobarana Sa’dan. After enough time, we back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 : Tana Toraja - Makassar / Transfer Airport (B,L)
After breakfast, check out hotel. Then we drive back to Makassar via the same road of 1st day. Lunch will be served Kenari Bukit Indah Restaurant Pare-Pare. In the afternoon, arrive in Makassar. Onwards, transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch your flight for your next destination.
